Chronicles of Ancient Darkness: Wolf Brother: Book 1

The book has sad parts like when Ren and Torak almost die of frostbite, or when Torak's father dies because of the bear. Overall, it is an outstanding book I can't wait to read book two!

Made no sense, completely pointless

This is the best book I've read this summer. It is the kind of story thrilling, magical and complete page turner. I read it in one day and can't wait to read the whole series!

Amazing

Love how it is set in the stone age.

An exciting story about 12 year old Torak and his wolf cub friend. The chapters are quite short but make you want to keep reading. Themes to explore include friendship, bravery, loss and adventure.
I think this will be a hit with reluctant boy readers in my class. Gruesome descriptions are sure to be a hit with many of them.

I think it is a very engaging but in it there are some very gruesome bit so I give it 4 out of 5 instead of 5 out of 5. I love it so much I would really recommend it to you!

This is a lovely fiction text with a captivating story. It would lend itself to an older audience and it would help to have background knowledge of the Stone Age / tribal living. I found myself really enticed by the story and the male protagonist is an easy character to relate to. I also liked the fact that the young girl is a feisty character who holds her own.

funny adventureos

I had been meaning to read this for some time. A bit more challenging for our year 4s, so will be a class read so we can share it together. A great start to what looks like a fascinating series of books by Michelle Paver. Renn is a great character in particular!

if you like intense battles then Wolf Brother is the book for you. This is a book about a young boy called Torak whose father has passed away, young Torrak swore an oath to his father to find the great mountain and destroy the demon bear.

I really liked the book, it was enjoyable to read. I don't know whether it was fiction or factual. My favourite character was wolf because he was funny and he played a big part to help Torak on his journey to the mountain spirit. I would recommend it 10+.

This is a fictional book about a boy who has to survive in the wilderness alone after his father... okay that went too close to a spoiler alert! The boy's name is Torak. He is an amazing tracker and eventually finds a wolf. And well that's all I'm going to tell you. This book is sooo good. You HAVE to read it!! Stay safe at home during Covid and peace out everyone!

My favourite character is Torak because fearless and adventurous. The story interest me because the book is about adventure and I like adventure. I would recommend this book to my friends and family.

I liked Torak and the wolf

Basically Wonderful!I love it when Torak sets of with Wolf and Renn.Amazing.

I found this book hard going to start with but then got into it. There is a lot of writing on each page so not so quick to get through the chapters. It was fiction. It is set thousands of years ago. I liked the wolf best. This is the first book of a series.

I liked this book because it was an adventure. I liked Wolf best because he was the guide and helped Torak.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure stories

It was an amazing read

i did like this book but i found some of it mind suckingly boring . It had some good parts though like the fight with the bear but i would hesitate to recommend it .My favourite character is the wolf cub obviously but i do really like Torak as well .

This is part of a series and is the first book. I would recommend reading the series. I have only read this book of the series but it was really good.

this is one of the greatest books iv'e ever read. it is 100% intriguing and its one of those books that once you start reading you cannot put it down!!!!

A great setting, great story is Wolf Brother and it's series. It starts when Torak lives with his father until a demon bear kills his father taking away his happy life. Will he stop the demon bear before it kills everyone?
