Malory Towers is an amazing book! I have read all the books multiple times and never get bored. I recommend for around 9 years minimum but so good!
I listened to this on my toniebox. It’s a really good story and very inspiring about not losing your temper and not being like Gwendolyn.
Best school ever! My love affair with these books begins!
I thought was super amusing because I liked that she met Elissa on the train and became friends with her, not knowing that she played lots of tricks in the teachers like putting a spider under their chair.
It's really funny. It's different to the series, but really funny because they cause lots of mischief.
I love malory towers
Fun, adventurous an 100% my type!
I love this book because it’s all about friendship at the start and what one of the characters was acting like she could have her hair down at school but she then went to her room and had really tangled hair when she got back from the room at the playground but the new girl was actually really nice and did her hair for her so she didn’t get told off from the teacher’s again.
I read this book in one day! I loved it! And cannot wait to read the others.
Sally is my favourite character, she is kind and helps people if she can.
I thought it was good to read about Daryll’s dad performing surgery.
Also, when Sally realised that her mother loves her as much as her younger sister but her sister just needed more attention as she was little.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes a nice read and wants to read about mischief
Fun and adventurous!
Darrell was my favourite character, open day was the best part of the book as I liked the way the book made a great picture in my head of Gwendolyn waiting for her parents to arrive. The funniest part was when Darrell slapped Gwendolyn over Mary-Lou nearly drowning.
It’s good. They’ve got a swimming pool at the school. I enjoyed the part of the book when Mary-Lou saved Darrell.
i’ve read this so many times and it still never gets old!
Enid Blytons books always want me wish so much I was in her world; this one is no different. It's so sweet, and everything's ok in the end.
I realy liked this book
I loved this school story about how Darrell settles into life at boarding school with a few hiccups along the way. I like how Darrell's character develops and shows her as a real person, trying to work hard in a new school, develop friendships and deal with her terrible temper! Her interactions with the other girls are interesting and each character has theirs faults and flaws as well as their good points. Highly recommended read.
Yes I would recommend this book and author because the story was an exciting surprising moments throughout the story.
I loved Malory towers because it had adventure in it and I like books with curiosity in them so if you like books like this make sure you get Malory towers.(It's the best!)
I loved this book! The story is about Darrell Rivers moving to a boarding school for the first time. She makes lots of friends and learns to control her anger. Darrell can be mischievous and plays pranks on her teachers. Her best friends are Sally Hope and Mary Lou. My favourite bit of the story was when all of the parents came to Malory Towers to visit because it reminded me of the St Margaret’s prize giving and sports day. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend.
so good she is a good writer
I liked Sally and Mary-Lou the best because by the sound of it, Sally looks a bit like me! She is also very kind and Mary-Lou is very sweet. My leas favorite characters are Gwendoline and Alicia because Gwendoline is spoilt and mean and Alicia is often playing silly pranks.
A great read! It lets you see and experience somebody else’s life. Darrell goes through ups and downs but the shows you what boarding school was like especially quite a long time ago. I would definitely recommend the book.
Darrell is my favourite character and she is sort of the main character as well but there are many other characters as well so you are likely to find your favourite!
If you have already read the book watch the series on Netflix. I Love it X
Not a big fan on it because
•tiny writing
•not my type of book
•not a type of book I would read over and over again
•long time to read
I loved Darrel because she helps the new people to the school.
I enjoyed when darrel made a new friend on the train.
I recommend this to ages 8+.
A really good and classic book. If you haven't read it you have really missed out! Darrell is a real sport and has two sides one that shows you the hard side of boarding school and one that is just good fun at the best of times. There are pranks, meanies and of course friends. I will definitely recommend this book to my friends.
very good book loved the cheeky girls mischief
I thought this book was full of advice to apply in real life.I like that Enid Blyton also makes it funny and interesting without overloading it with adjectives. My favourite part was when Irene forgot her health certificate.Overa ll,I think the author has done a very good job of slipping life lessons into an attractive book.
Darrell is just like me !
Malory Towers is a brilliant fiction story about a young girl named Darrell Rivers, starting at Malory Towers.
