i love the adventures that go on in this book and how they merge the two stories together; their real life, and their fairytale life.
I recommend this book because, I found it really interesting and exiting.
Getting children from a supermarket to eat- very funny!
Lana and her brother, Harrison used to love playing board games until he decided he was too old for that now. Harrison was in high school and he decided that he should study for his exam in a few years time. But when a trip to a new supermarket uncovers portals to the world of fairytales, Lana learns that stories aren't a game. With the world of fairytales in danger, can Lana convince Harrison to believe again before it's to late?
I love it it's very good

i did not like it
It was like I actually did fall into the fairytale!
It is clever how the fairy tale story is interwoven into this story. It is full of twists and turns and therefore story is cool and difficult to put down! I think that Ben Miller is a really good author and I found it accessible to read myself.
This book is fun to read. I stayed up late reading because it was too much of a cliff hanger
It was very interesting to read.
I recently read this with my Year 5 Book Club, they absolutely loved it. We talked about how much we liked the imagery invoked through the vocabulary in this book. The fairytales within the story are traditional but have twists so that you don't know what's coming next. For me personally, the ending felt a little rushed and I was a little confused by the ending. The Book Club were also confused, with half the children concluding one concept whilst the rest came to a different conclusion.
All in all a good book, which helped us to have conversations around bravery, siblings distancing themselves, and great 'what would you do if...' discussions.
.I thought this book was am amazing
.I think this book will go down in history
.Lana

I really liked it because it was really magical and varied.
This was a really good book
I loved the story because it is a story in a story.
Larna is my Favourite character because she makes disasters and fixes it all in a funny way
I love any kind of twist on fairytales and this was no different. Think it will be very popular when I add it to my classroom library.
This book is really different, I like how the fairytale bit happens at the supermarket and how the brother and sister become friends again.
Its definitely worth a read as its a great story.
I recommend this book because it tells you are all about different fairy tales but made into one story.
If you get a bit scared this might not be the book for you.
Harrison was a good character because even thought he got a bit grumpy he ended up in the fairytale with his sister.
It was fun because it connected all the fairytales toghever to make a great adventure
Excellent, best book I have ever read
I read this with my dad and he changed his voice in the book a lot. It was fascinating!
Brilliant book really fun and clever. I liked the whole story. It was good the way it had different fairytales aswell.
Really want to read more from this author
I really enjoyed references to traditional fairy tales within the book, this offered a nice twist. Reading is portrayed so powerfully within the text and it helps to ignite a fire for engaging with stories in young readers.
Good
This was a good book. There were some funny parts, sad parts and scary parts, it had a bit of everything! It took me a bit to get into it but soon it was hard to put down! I would recommend this book to anyone 10+ who likes magic and/or adventure books!

This was funny, light hearted and entertaining. I liked how the author blended fairytales together. Definitely worth a read for children aged 8 years and older.
I absolutely loved this story. It is well written and intertwines traditional fairytales (Sleeping Beauty and Hansel and Gretal) with new adaptions curtesy of Ben Miller.
I would highly recommend this story to children aged 8+
