The characters are: Wendy Wedge, Walter Wedge, Ruby Foot, Bear Foot, Ivor Foot, Mr Creeper and loads more.
The bit I liked was when everyone in Shoe Town finds out that Wendy put on slippers which is illegal like she said and goes into SHOE PRISON!
The books genre is detective and crime.
People from 7 years and older would enjoy this book.
I liked it because they had flying shoes which I thought was really cool and one shoe took pictures! I also really liked the names of the chapters because they were shoe sizes instead of chapters
Really funny, definitely reccomend and if I had to choose a pair of shoes it would be the monster one. 4 stars.
İvor was very funny and wendy waas bad. Shoeton was treated badly and unfairly
Super funny
I found it really fun to read. I liked when Ruby snuck into Wendy Wedge's room and saw her wear slippers,[that were illegal to wear she said].
MS Wedge is creeping me out, I think ms wedge was the snake to kill sally sandall
Very funny though the very start was a bit sad
Amazing book i felt like was inside the storyline
I thought it was a very good book. I especially liked the guard dogs and all of the scheming in it. (Plus I like how the dogs are called Left and Right!) However there is one teensy problem, there are too many bad characters in it. Wouldn't it be fun to have flying shoes? You'd never be late for anything ever again!
It was about a girl who's dad had flying shoes
really funny.
so imaginative!
I really liked this book. It was the first time I read a book by Liz Pichon and I finished it in 2 days. My favorite character was probably Ruby because she was nice and she had lots of great ideas. I think Wendy Wedge was very especially to steal Sally and Ivor's creation of flying shoes just to win the golden shoe award.
I liked ruby.
I enjoyed this book; my favourite character was Walter because he was stuck-up and had an interesting personality. I would recommend it to Tom Gates fans.
It was very interesting and exciting with brilliant illustrations and I would recommend this book if you like Tom Gates

It is good
This book amazed me and I really loved it. This book was really created by Liz Pitchon, the creator of Tom Gates! My favorite character is Bess, she was the one that exposed Wendy Wedge! Of course, I would recommend this book to everyone.
I really liked this story
It recommended me to not fight
I liked Shoe Wars because of all the funny things that Walter does when he shouts and does silly pranks.
it was funny
It was fiction. My favourite characters are Wendy Wedge, the bad guy and Rosie Foot the good guy. I would definitely recommend this book to someone else.
This book is a book about a family fighting to keep their special shoes away from the infamous Wendy Wedge so she couldn't win the Golden Shoe Award. The book was fantastic because it had those moments when you got nervous but then all of a sudden you were on top of the world.
