Rich and exciting feline fantasy world in which epic battles for territory and honour are played out. This new series will have particular appeal for fans of Brian Jacques’ Redwall series.
The first of six titles set in a feline fantasy world. Rusty could feel spiked teeth pricking at his neck.He writhed and squirmed from whisker to tail,
but he couldn’t free himself.
for Firepaw and the ThunderClan
For readers of 9 and above and particularly those who enjoy Brian Jacques fantasy titles. TweetReviews
I love this series and if you want to stick to one thing, read this! It's never ending! I finished the first series (A new prophecy begins) and now wait for christmas to get the second one!
I love this book by Erin Hunter! It is a book about a kitty pet called Rusty. He longs to live in the forest so he decides to join one of the many clans ( Thunderclan ) . He meets a friend called Greypaw and they train to become warriors together. Rusty is renamed Firepaw. He is enemy's with a warrior Tigerclaw who he thinks is trying to get power. It is a great book but I think it should be a 10+ .
Loved it. Can't wait to read more of them.
It’s a comic and it’s adventerous. Top read of a ‘cat person’!
Wow
This book was very different from most books, especially the fact that it is full of cats (which I didn't mind because cats are great).
The plot was very exciting and so was the action-this book was full of it! The characters showed lots of human traits which was interesting.
I'd recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure and cats.
I love the Warrior cat series, I always go back to the originals which is always a treat to re-read!
My favourite character was a cat called Silverstream. I liked her because she was in Riverclan and she is a really good swimmer. She is very loving and nice.
I really liked the description of the cats and the world, they described it very well. I also really liked how their speech sometimes got interrupted. Some of the story was really exciting, some of it made me feel nervous and some was sad. I loved it and that’s why I gave it five stars!
A great start to an incredible series. Fireheart shows bravery and courage and tries his best for the clan, despite all of the nasty comments from his clan mates. Join the cats as they go through hardship, joy and many other adventures.
I loved determined Rusty.

5/5!
I would recommend this book to Key Stage Two children who enjoy adventure books. I was swept away to the world the cats lived in and could imagine the various fights which errupted between clans.
