It was exciting and I liked that Tilly could go in to books and talk to the characters.
It was very exciting!!!
I really loved reading it I could not put it down!
This is a really fun, adventurous book. My favourite character is Tilly since she is a bookwanderer, and also Oskar, because he is always by Tilly's side. It is funny and fascinating! There are some amazing quotes in this one too!
my best friend recommended this book to me. I would give this book a 10 if I could! Tilly is a curious adventurer and I wish I could meet Alice in wonderland too. they all seem like such fun characters and living in a bookshop would mean having all the books in the world! My favourite character is jack because his pastries sound delish! it's just a very thrilling and exciting book
really good
i reccomend this book
Pages and Co is probably the best book I've ever read.
As someone who believes in the magic of books, it was a great read with a motto everyone can live by; ‘Be brave, be curious, be kind’.
I liked how they travelled into books
It was brilliant!! The settings were described beautifully and I loved all the plot twists and moments of peril. So exciting! :)
I recommend this story to book lovers from 9 to 14 - there is a lot to understand throughout the book and it needs a skilled reader to take it all in.
My new dream is to be a bookwanderer!
I loved this book! It engaged me straight away with the references to well-loved book characters, and the sad backstory of Tilly made me want to root for her throughout. Pace, mystery, adventure and a good villain made this a great read.
I really enjoyed pages and code book 1 because it was full of surprises and was a really fun read
very good plot twists
I really loved this book. It had loads of twists and turns and was really exciting. I would recommend this to anyone who loves adventures.
Why favourite character is Alice in Wonderland, because she is stubborn and kind at the same time. And I would recommend it, because you can go into other people's fairytales and it's not just one book!
simply AMAZING!
This is a brilliant story with epic adventures through story books. I want to be friends with Tilly and her grandparents.
I walked into my school library and thought, look, just get a book for the sake of it, you don't need to read it. So I grabbed the first thing that caught my eye and just pretended to read. But then I did read, and I couldn't stop. I devoured every single little bit. My favourite person is Beatrice.
I really enjoyed this book about a girl called Tilly and her friend Oscar finding out something called book wandering which is something you can do by reading the part of the book you want to enter and the end lines to get our. My favourite character is Tilly because she wanted to find her mum even if she got caught by chalk. I would recommend this book.
I just loved the idea of being able to be part of a story. What a great idea.
In this book eleven-year-old Tilly lives with her grandparents at the Pages & Co. bookshop. This is because Tilly’s Dad died before she was born, and her Mom disappeared shortly after she was born. Tilly sets out to reunite her family using the magic of bookwandering, to search though the mysterious worlds of books. Tilly’s thirst to know more moves the story along and gives an inquisitive side to her.
I enjoyed this book because it shows what it might be like to be able to talk to your favourite characters. I love the possibility of reading yourself into your favourite book and making friends with your favourite characters. There are great mysteries that puzzle you into continuing reading. This was an exciting read full of magic and mystery and I would give it 5 stars for the great plot and the use of magic.
I recommend this book for book - lovers. (Age: 8+.)
I really loved this book because it was a challenge and I learned about lots of other stories.
It is one of my favourite books and I love it a lot .
It was a very exciting book and I loved it because it combined characters that I admired from fairy tales with new characters like Tilly and her Grandparents that are lovable as well. It was quite a slow start, but when you get to know all the characters you wouldn't want it to end.
Definitely recommend.
Good imaginative story, I enjoyed it.
It is one of my favourite books I have read in my life and my favourite character is Oscar Tilly's friend.
