A captivating, curl-up-on-the-sofa debut about the magic of books and the power of the imagination.

But when her favourite characters, Anne of Green Gables and Alice from Wonderland, appear in the shop, Tilly’s adventures become very real. Do you eat, sleep and breathe the characters from your favourite books? Do you think reality is overrated? Do you want to explore and imagine how you and your family came to be? Be brave, be kind, be curious - like Tilly. Read, no live, this amazing book!
I really enjoyed how the author had made it different as Tilly's parents (Tilly is the main character) doesn't have parents YET but instead have her grandparents as her dad and mum disappeared when Tilly was young. I liked how Tilly is magical but normal at the same time. I would definetely recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries and magic and books. I rate this a 10/10

This is a really fun, adventurous book. My favourite character is Tilly since she is a bookwanderer, and also Oskar, because he is always by Tilly's side. It is funny and fascinating! There are some amazing quotes in this one too!

Tilly is a curious adventurer and I wish I could meet Alice in wonderland too. they all seem like such fun characters and living in a bookshop would mean having all the books in the world! My favourite character is jack because his pastries sound delish! it's just a very thrilling and exciting book

i reccomend this book
Pages and Co is probably the best book I've ever read.
As someone who believes in the magic of books, it was a great read with a motto everyone can live by; ‘Be brave, be curious, be kind’.
I liked how they travelled into books
It was brilliant!! The settings were described beautifully and I loved all the plot twists and moments of peril. So exciting! :)
I recommend this story to book lovers from 9 to 14 - there is a lot to understand throughout the book and it needs a skilled reader to take it all in.
My new dream is to be a bookwanderer!
I loved this book! It engaged me straight away with the references to well-loved book characters, and the sad backstory of Tilly made me want to root for her throughout. Pace, mystery, adventure and a good villain made this a great read.
I really enjoyed pages and code book 1 because it was full of surprises and was a really fun read
very good plot twists
I really loved this book. It had loads of twists and turns and was really exciting. I would recommend this to anyone who loves adventures.
Why favourite character is Alice in Wonderland, because she is stubborn and kind at the same time. And I would recommend it, because you can go into other people's fairytales and it's not just one book!
simply AMAZING!
This is a brilliant story with epic adventures through story books. I want to be friends with Tilly and her grandparents.
I walked into my school library and thought, look, just get a book for the sake of it, you don't need to read it. So I grabbed the first thing that caught my eye and just pretended to read. But then I did read, and I couldn't stop. I devoured every single little bit. My favourite person is Beatrice.
I really enjoyed this book about a girl called Tilly and her friend Oscar finding out something called book wandering which is something you can do by reading the part of the book you want to enter and the end lines to get our. My favourite character is Tilly because she wanted to find her mum even if she got caught by chalk. I would recommend this book.
I just loved the idea of being able to be part of a story. What a great idea.
