It was a heartwarming mystery story about the Secret Seven finding out that a gardener next door was poor and his wife was really ill. They helped them by giving them a cottage and some money.
When the Seven go looking for a plane model inabandoned house, they found a surprise.
Jack because he started the mystery.
I liked the book because they are always good to solve mystery.
I would definitely recommend this book.
I like the way that the secret seven explored grim secret and keep in at night
It's because it is very mysterious and has many plot-twists. Enid Blyton's work is truly magnificent! Also, my favorite character is the gardener, Grim. Everyone said he was honest but instead he was inside the Halls's
house taking care of his wife
This is book is in a series of fifteen (+ 2 from Pamela Butchart) books about 7 children, the secret seven, they club together to solve mysteries together and are very good at it. This time the seven children: Barbra, Janet, Pam, Jack, Colin, George and Peter the leader as well as Janet and Peter’s dog Scamper this time Jack and Peter must retrieve Jack’s younger sister Susie’s aeroplane from the mean farmer next door. Something is not right they noticed. While they do the see a fire going in the house that hasn’t been opened for ages, or so they think…
I would certainly recommend this book as it is light hearted, well thought out and fun.
A mystery needs solving and the Secret Seven are ready to determine the true. It is classic Enid Blyton and is a little dated (not surprising considering it was written in 1956). I was not too keen on the nature of bossy Peter and way the girls were depicted.
I didn't like the gardener Georgie Grimm especially at first.
if you like mystery then you like the secret seven
The secret seven. It is really good and quite funny. I love how Susie (Jack’s sister) got the aeroplane that Jack wanted. I think Enid Blyton is an amazing author and I would reccomend her books for 10 yr olds! Read these books
