Unlike some other local Bookclubs we do not exclude members on the basis of gender, sexual orientation, race, colour, creed, class or political persuasion. We are genuinely open to all. We all know most Bookclubs tend to read the same things don`t we? `The Help` or `Eat, Prey, Love Marketing Opportunity` or `The Da V¡nc¡ Code`. Not us. We read contemporary fiction paperbacks and being an adventurous bunch we often like to read something different. This could be Romantic Fiction, Literary Classics, Pulp Fiction, Crime Fiction, Current Affairs, Science Fiction or anything else that helps us become `Well Read`. Except chicklit. We don`t read chicklit. Unlike some Bookclubs we are INDEPENDENT, don`t have our books chosen by a Book Shop, marketing department, TV Chat Show, publisher or any other commercial interest.
