Mrs Chipchase, the nasty dinner lady, makes lunch hour at St Barty’s really unpleasant. That is, for everyone but her ‘favourite friend’, Hamish Bigmore. Up to his usual tricks, Hamish is allowed to eat chocolate instead of ghastly school dinners! Mr Majeika decides it’s time to sort out the menu.

I liked it!
It was an exciting story
It was very funny because mr majeika magiced some wizards food like worms
I liked it.
Mr Majeika helps with a nasty dinner lady called Mrs Chipchase who gives the children the worst food ever. I enjoyed it but there were some scary bits like when the children got turned into animals.
It was very funny and it made me laugh a lot
It was very mysterious because Hamish bigmore keeps having chocolate for lunch instead of the food in his lunch bag. It turned out to be the dinner ladies and he gave them his lunch and in return was a chocolate bar.
The dinner lady is so mean. I can’t even tell you what she does because she is so mean. You will have to read it to find out.
I liked this book as I like this series of books. They are always funny.
It was a funny fiction book about a teacher that is also a wizard.
I liked a girl called Jody because she was kind.
I like the chapter where they turn into pigs! I think the books are good, not great but good.
good
It was really good. It was funny. Mr Majeika was was my favourite character because he does magic. I recommend it.
I would recommend this if you like mean dinner ladies,
I like Jody the most because she is helpful and fun. i would recommend this book to someone who likes reading fantasy books.
I enjoyed this book because it was about a teacher who used to be a magician. He has to use his powers to fix things.
Mr Majeika is a wizard who becomes a teacher at St. Barty's school. He teaches Class 3 and everybody in the class really likes him apart from Hamish Bigmore, the class nuisance who is very naughty. Mr Majeika's magical enemy is Wilemena Worlock the witch. This story is really funny as Mr Majeika ends up having to make the school dinners and he makes real toad in the hole for lunch on Friday which was really silly. He served up toads inside a pile of moss and stones for the hole.
I like the part where the Dinner Lady makes food that everybody in the school does not like.
It was a fiction book and Mrs Chipchase was my favourite person
I thought the book was ok
Another good Mr Majeika book. I enjoyed reading this but I don't fancy some of the school dinners that were on offer!
Very good book
This is because this book has different chapters and in the different chapters, there are different stories. On the first chapter, Mr Majeika had to do magic to put worms and other bugs in a type of food. This is because there is a boy and that boy is called Hamish and he is a troublemaker. He gets chocolate for his lunch from the cook because everyday the cook gets Hamish's lunch and she swiches it with chocolate.
This book was so funny!
It is odd and changes subject but my favourite character is Mr Majeika.
my favourite character in the book was miss chipchase because instead of spageti in school she gave worms and if any one was talking about her they would be punished by going to the strict mister pottter.the food they used to eat in school was dead toad with moss and stones and dead worms with a meatball on top.
i didn,t enjoy this book as much so i will not recommend it to my friends
I like Mr Majeika and the Dinner Lady because it is very interesting. I enjoyed reading it. I couldn't guess what happened at the farm.
This book is about how in st. Bartty's school they have a nasty dinner lady. class 3 go to a farm park and strange things happen.
