Elmer on Stilts

I liked it when the hunters got trampled on.

I liked it because they knew that the hunters were coming and the hunters were going to catch the elephants but they made little branches because they knew that the little hunters only checked on the ground and then when they went out and they went to go and find them they stumbled upon a tree and they banged into it and then the elephants all fell down but they had a soft landing because they landed on the hunters.

I like this book, because it is funny. Elmer tries to hide his friends from the bad hunters and tells them all to walk around on stilts. Then they all fall down on the hunters and the hunters run away, eventually.
Elmer is the best character in the book, he's very clever.

I gave this is a 5 because it is just magnificent!
When I read this book I wondered if the hunters were going to catch them and I was scared for them but when they survived and had fun with the stilts I was so happy.
I like Elmer the best because he came up with the great idea of stilts to protect his friends and family.
I know this book is for children but I think that grown-ups would love it as well!

it is a really funny book and it can be weird sometimes but you can always have a laugh of it . mostly in this book I liked when the elephants fell on the hunters that was just totally Hilarious
