Flapper fan? You'll love this. Written in 1929 it's a glorious technicolour snapshot of the era. Pat (the ex-wife) and her friends sparkle with wit and vivacity as they rip through the patronising patriarchal society in which they live. At least they do when she's not moping around and being tiresome - then I just wanted to give her a shake.
