Natalie has a reputation for ‘telling stories’ until she is whisked away by a tiny monster and then she has some real monster stories to tell.

There is a flying saucer that comes into Natalie’s school and on the flying saucer was a plant. Then Natalie knocked over the plant and Mr. hunter the teacher told her to sweep up the mess. There was a monster on the flying saucer and the monster took Natalie to monster land, and they did lots of fun things like going to monster marvels football tournament.

I liked it But it was very short and not very ambitious. My favourite character was the little, tiny, microscopic monster.I would not in any disaster ever recommend this book.

I rate this 1 stars.

A great book for those new to chapter books. The main character we don’t really get to know too well - apart from the fact she tells stories. It’s a little dated with a teacher who uses phrases like “naughty”. The main message is that anyone can be a storyteller but that gets lost with Natalies stories (she just borrows from others until she has a weird alien experience).

Natalie told stories to all her friends and then all her stories come true.

The ant was my favourite character.
