The Brilliant World of Tom Gates

I love the way he doodles without inspiration. He loves to annoy his older sister Delia. He is very kind around Derek and Amy because those are his friends. To Tom Marcus is a smug.

This is a book for people who like music.It was quite a funny one+it was great.I liked Amy best . The Dude 3 bit was great

It is a really good book I wold recommend this to people age 8-14 it is very good

Fiction book about a boy called Tom Gates who is always late for class as his sister Delia always locks him in the bathroom. His teacher is Mr Fullerman. They made a band called Dog Zombies Rule and they make really good songs. Tom has a friend called Derek who got a new puppy. Tom has another friend called Norman who can’t eat anything with the letter e in it. Marcus is not Tom’s friend as he is very annoying and is a snitch. I liked this book as it has good action and makes you laugh from beginning to the end of the book. Recommend

It was my first book that not able to put down I read it in just over 24 h. I liked Tom the most because he always has funny ideas.This was a funny book and it kept me gripped because it was his life

I think it is a very comedical book for example is that Marcus writes in his book I am an idiot . my favourite is tom because he makes a song about his sister called ''delia is a weirdo'' also the teacher mrs worthington has a moustache and Tom finds it hard not to stare.then Mr Fullerman has big beady eyes and Tom calls him Bugeye.Tom tries to impress amy by saying he likes singing and joins the school choir and regrets telling amy he likes singing and has to perform in the school choir and sings ''Delia is a wierdo'' and the everyone including Delias boyfriend starts laughing.

Really funny. I love how Tom plays tricks on people and doodles in class. This book is illustrated beautifully and Liz Pichon really understands what kids like to read. My favourite character has to be Tom because he is cool and draws lots of pictures of his teacher in different hairdos. I believe this is the first in the series but you don't have to read them in any order to read them.
