Everyone loves the wickedly dry sense of humour of The Diary of a Killer Cat by Anne Fine.
Okay, Okay. So hang me. I killed the bird. For pity’s sake, I’m a cat.
Poor Ellie is horrified when Tuffy drags a dead bird into the house. Then a mouse. But Tuffy can’t understand what all the fuss is about.
Who on earth will be the next victim to arrive through the cat-flap? Can soft-hearted Ellie manage to get her beloved pet to change his wild, wild ways before he ends up in even deeper trouble?
The hilarious antics of Tuffy and his family as told by the killer cat himself.

It was very funny my favourite character was thumper
I liked when the killer cat kills the bird part at the very start.
100 stars!
Loved a twist
I loved this book because the killer cat had friends and it was funny at times. My favourite character was the Killer Cat. My favourite bit was when the girls who owned the Killer Cat said 'Tuffy'. I would recommend this book to cat lovers and those who want a laugh.
Story told by a cat
Too sad for the animals, but really good
I would give this book to Elisabeth because she likes cat's and funny things.
This book wasn't as exciting as some of the other books I read but I still loved reading it. It's about a cat bringing in loads of birds and rabbits etc and getting told off for it but the owner sticks up for the cat and in the end they are all a happy family. I would recommend this book to children age 7-10 who like cats.
Too Girly
