This is a good story, although it is not my favourite. The kids got lost when they were walking home, and the book tells about what happened to them. When they finally arrived at home, their mum and dad were really angry.

I thought it was dangerous to be in the Castle.

I hadn't read any books by this author before but enjoyed this one. It would have been nice if some of the illustrations were in colour. The ending wasn't what I expected.

A lovely story for a younger reader. I liked how the story touched upon the history of WW2. The three main characters were my favourites and it was nice to follow the adventure with their ‘castle’. I would definitely recommend this book.

Quite a nice story about 3 friends who find a castle from world war 2.

19 Jul 2021

I really liked Chris and Tom because they are very brave and stand up for themselves. Chris also protects his little sister Lisa which is a very kind thing to do. I thought that each page could of had way more words and for there to be less pictures. I would recommend this book to younger kids because I didn’t enjoy it that much as I am 9 years old.
