I liked this book and read it very quickly. My favourite part was when they went through the portal to Ancient Rome and the match at the end when they played against the older children. It would be good if more of the fans were cheering for Frankie instead of just the Romans, they only started to cheer for him when he was winning.

Funny book because Frankie kicked his football and knocked a wooden spatula out of the gladiator's hand and into the air.
