Found this totally engaging from the first page. A gorgeous book: quiet, gentle and superbly well written. Loved the atmospheric descriptions of space which contrast wonderfully with the exploration of the tensions in relationships, on and off the spacecraft, especially in the face of professional ambition. Told in a dual timeline: Olly's childhood and early career and Commander Oliver Ines's Personal Log on board the spacecraft.
