This book is a must read for any Terry Pratchett fan it is fascinating to read early glimpses of your favourite Discworld characters. For other readers these are satisfying short stories that as they were written for newspapers in the 1970s and 1980s have a pleasant old world feel to them and they always conclude nicely. The story of how the collection came about is also fascinating. An all round great read.
