A fun romp of a novel with some explicit lesbian sex. Quite funny at times, revealing at others, and some serious political points made in amongst it at all. First half is the same as the film Pride, then the story follows one young woman's discovery that she's gay and the relationships she develops as she plunges into a whole new world of gay bars and squatting and protests. Oh, and chickpea soup.
