First in a delightful new series about puffins and teamwork – for readers aged 5+.
Welcome to the island of Egg where a group of young puffins are in training to join a search and rescue team.
Meet Muffin who is following in her dad’s footsteps and anxious not to let him down. Everything is new. There is so much to learn and new friends to be made. And how amazing to rescue birds and eggs in danger!
Muffin and the other puffins can’t wait to get started.

I have read the three books in the series Call the Puffins with my 5 year old son and we both loved them. They story flows easily as it is very interesting, with twist and turns but it always ends well. It is a story about friendship, about how being different can become an asset and about knowing who you truly are. It is a wonderful read which I would imagine my son would like to go back to.
I liked this book because it is exciting
It was a fiction. I think it was good because I liked that there was pictures.
You also liked the phrase 'wing wrapped' because it's a hug but for Puffins.
Muffin; a puffin with weird feet has completed her dream to become a rescue puffin.
This book is fiction.
I didn't really like this book.
I don't know who to recomend this to.
A lovely quick read about being resilient and never giving up.
Muffin the puffin has to be resilient when faced with new challenges and leaving home. Even with her differences she is able to go on to save the day.
I thought the book was really cool. I liked Muffin the puffin as he was brave and saved little baby Minchie. He was really adventurous and a good friend. I would recommend this book to my friend. I liked the facts about puffins at the back.
this is a fiction book
A nice adventure. I liked the fact that Muffin's name rhymes with puffin; that was really good.
Muffin was my favourite character. A good read for people with a love for puffins and action.
