This is a departure from the fiction that I have been reading.
A Christmas present from my brother as we both share a Liverpool affiliation for our sins! This is a good book giving an inside perspective on Liverpool winning the Premier League after a 30 year wait.
Whilst an enjoyable read as sporting autobiographies go it can't be denied this would be best enjoyed if a Liverpool fan. If you can put fan allegiances aside this will provide an entertaining read, as the humility of the individual player shines through.
