Getting into trouble has never been so much fun! Another brilliantly funny tale all about Daisy’s adventures at her school Sports Day, from the best-selling author behind the hilarious OI FROG series.
Here comes trouble!
Daisy is so excited for her school Sports Day!
She and her best friend Gabby are training hard. They’re going for gold! They’re getting themselves in the zone with a strict athlete’s diet of Mars bars, Twiglets and cheese strings!
The trouble is, everyone else in the class wants to win too…

I liked this book but as much as the other daisy books I’ve read so far. I loved that she had to kiss jacks trainers for some chewing gum and it was a trick , it made me laugh out loud. It made me sad when I found out she cheated to win the egg and spoon race. Age group for this book is first chapter books.
I would definitely recommend this book it is probably my favourite book i have read in the library. The book was fiction and fun to read. I was very interested in this book because how it was set out ( pictures, writing) I loved reading it and I can’t wait to read more of these books by Kes Gray.
I liked this book except the bit where she cheats because I wouldn't do that. It is nice that she dedicates her race to Gabby her best friend.
I love reading all the daisy and the trouble with books
They are funny
I liked this book because Daisy never gave up.
My favourite character was Daisy because even though she didn't think she could win she kept on practising. When her friend Gabby broke her leg she told her she would win for herself and Gabby. Also she ended up WINNING!!!
I loved that Daisy was trying to win her egg and spoon race and she did a lot of training.Daisy and her friend gabby did 100 pushups, 100 star jumps and 100 bridges! It surprised me because Daisy at the end of race she got sent to THE PRINCIPAL’S OFFICE!!!
This is a fiction book about the troubles with sports day. l
really liked this book because it was really funny.
I thought it was interesting because there was someone in crutches. It made the story more exciting because there were two really good sports girls and Daisy was racing against them.
I recommend this story to my nursery and school friends and family because it's about being kind and helpful. The thing that makes it fun to read is when Daisy helps Gabby when she hit a lamppost on her skate board and she had a whistle in her mouth at the time and nearly swallowed it.
It’s weird because she makes an egg out of chewing gum but also it is still the colour of an egg!!
I really laughed when she said she would rather kiss a baboon’s bottom than new trainers. That was crazy!
I enjoyed this book because it was funny when Daisy makes a egg out of chewing gum.
Hi favourite character was Gabby because she helped Daisy train for sports day even though she couldn’t compete. Gabby couldn’t compete in sports day because she had sprained her ankle and couldn’t run.
I would recommend this book to children age 4 to 10 .
It was a very nice book
I loved this book and thought it was so competitive and funny.
I loved every single day of reading this book and hope to see more of these come out in the shops.
I liked Daisy and Gabby's teddy. I liked Daisy because she is so creative and Gabby’s teddy because it is so cute.
I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in Daisy books and is a big fan of kes gray.
It’s about sports fay
I thought it was funny because daisy made a lucky egg made out of gum .
I would recommend it to others because you learn how to get ready for sports day.
I liked the book because it was interesting.Daisy had said many troubles about sports day.
I liked it because it was amusing and taught you that if you try too hard then you might end up hurting yourself.
