Some humerous poems, well written. Bizarre subject matter. Would benefit from being organised into topics to help to navigate the book. Focus for older upper primary children.
This book is a collection of poems about the life and feeling of a boy with crazy life. He imagines demon cats, coffee monsters, and much more... Guess who he is? Yes, you are right: the poet! It is full of funny poems and some very serious ones. I hope you will enjoy this book.
Recommend: I recommend this book to children between 7 to 9 because it is very funny and it is full of interesting words.
My favorite part is a poem called the Screaming Demon Cat from Hell, who is cute and sweet with bright blue eyes, but he is the devil in disguise….
Great fun to read!
