This was my favourite book. My favourite character was Merrylegs the horse.
I liked it because there horse was a bit sad but he thought the pretend horses were real and it made him happy.
Good story
About a horse
Horse met another horse
It's fiction I liked the horse best
I would recommend it to someone else
I thought the horse could not fly but it did and it made me feel happy. This book is not for my age so smaller people read it.
Merrylegs isn't special, he's just a riding school pony. Nobody loves him. Can Merrylegs find something magical in him?
I recommend it 4 to 8 year old children.
Really liked the whole story
It is a lovely book
I liked the bit where Merrylegs got to fly
I likes reading about the fair
I like this story because Merrylegs wanted to be a real horse but it didn't go to plan. He ended up having more fun as a carousel horse!
This was very cute and a good overall message for children. It brings awareness that not everyone will see themselves as other do, and the need to be a cheerleader for your friends. It could also help those with less confidence see similarities between what they feel and what Merrylegs was going through.
It starts off very engaging with lots of onomatopoeia which is reflected at the end, but it would have been nice to include this throughout in the middle section, especially when they were visiting the carasoul. I feel this would have help keep children engaged with the story and get them more involved in the reading process.
It's about a horse, I like horses when it's night time she sees another horse
I liked it when Merrylegs started to be tall and beautiful. I didn’t like it when he was floppy and sad.
