l loved this book Ellie was my favourite character she reminded me of my sister!
This book is the second book in a series anald I would recommend it to people who like magic in books
Brilliant, exciting and filled with adventure and mystery
So good are they not my favourite bit was when they found out about the needle incessant
I really like this book it's so adventurous and fun. Daniel and Ellie have some more adventures to deal with as some sort of creature is trying to steal some important things
Loved it! Daniel Holmes and Ellie Silver (Late Luicen Silver’s daughter - the man who gave Daniel the emporium) went on a heart-stopping adventure to stop the shadow walker (Bob Needle) the obtain the ultimate power. In the end, they failed /won and Ellie moved away to join the Bearu (I think I spelt that right).
If you like books full of magic, impossible things and danger then this is the book for you. There are 2 more books in the series:
The Nowhere Emporium and The Otherwhere Emporium. 5 stars
My favourite character was Ellie because she was very adventurous and a loyal friend. I would recommend this book to people who like mysteries and magic.
I really enjoyed this book because again it was full of fun, magic and incredible description. I would recommend it to any reader who loves adventure and fiction.
Daniel and friends are again faced with tricky task. A deadly encaged shadow has escaped. He turns others to unmovable darkness. Nothing will get in his way of drinking from a fountain made of pure magic an becoming human and receive power beyond belief.
Can Daniel and his friends capture him? Will he make many suffer? Can Daniel actually live? Most importantly, will he succeed and save the Nowhere Emporium again?
I enjoyed this book. It followed on from the last one with a good story and was very suspenseful.
Almost as good as the first
One of the best books I've ever read.
The book was amazing and the way the author changed the time from the present to the past and back. Looking forward for the next book of the nowhere emporium.
Just a good start but a boring end
It was a good book, but I preferred the first book, The Nowhere Emporium.
Sequel to the nowhere emporium, Daniel Holmes is running the Emporium. With help form his best friend Ellie, they must work together to find the emporium and stop the mystery creature before it’s too late…
Captivating book for ages 9+
Fiction
Fab character - flintwitch because he was so funny
I would recommend to my friends
This book is about a emporium that goes elsewhere all the time and there is an invisible criminal that has stolen the legendary shop from nowhere. Daniel and Ellen need to solve the case before the Emporium and the whole world of magic are destroyed forever.
I liked this book because the emporium gets stolen from Daniel and people are disappearing and turning into shadows.
Really good. Iwould recommend to a friend
I loved the book it was amazing. I probably like Ellie the best because she’s always willing to help. I thought it was awesome how at the end Ellie gets a new job at the bureau of magical investigations. I would definitely recommend this book
Not as brilliant as the first but definitely should be read and in every library.
I loved this sequel to one of my favourite books. I loved it all apart from at the end because Daniel had to leave Elie.
this book was full of mystery and told two stories at once that were connected.
I really enjoy reading books by Ross Mackenzie. I found it really interesting and different to other books I have read. My favourite character was Ellie Silver because she shows strength and courage through out the book. I really liked that the author started one story and carried on with the other and the two stories managed to mix together. I really liked all the ideas of all the wonders and what the wonders have inside them.
This book is amazing! I would recommend it to people from age 7 - 12 who have read the first book in the series, The Nowhere Emporium for this is the second book. My favourite characters are Daniel and Ellie, the two main characters.
Not as good as
The Nowhere Emporium.
I lost the story plot and think that it isn't as spellbinding as the first book.
A fun and jolly story as it involves the circus.
By the time you read the Elsewhere Emporium you are fully invested in the Emporium itself and feel a sense of protectiveness over its inhabitants. It was lovely to return and visit Daniel and Ellie again in their magical world as they once more fight against dark forces.
Fabulous sequel!
