My favorite series. The book is so detailed about what Morrigan does next.
I read this straight after Nevermoor and if anything it was even better - these books are so exciting you can't put them down.
I really enjoyed this book and recommend it.
This book was funny and like a mystery I liked it
A sequel to book 1 in the nevermoor series. Where morrigon learns to control the wundorous arts.
Amazing sequel, I love it! Would recommend but read the first book before this one!
Comedy, adventure, fantsasy and fun officially the best book ever!!!
It is a really good book and it’s captivating. My favourite character is Hawthorne who is a funny boy with powers of dragon flying. I would highly recommend it to children who like magic and adventure.
It was a really good book with an irresistible magical adventure. I would recommend this book to all.
Really enjoyed. Morrigan´s struggles are believable (while fantastical) and it is enjoyable learning more about key characters from the first book.
The second book in the Nevermoor series was every bit as good as the first, if not a little better. The first book sets the premise excellently, and the second built seamlessly on to it. It was fast paced and exciting, not always predictable as a children's book can be when an adult reads them.
I got the same 'feels' from reading this book as I did from reading Harry Potter and can not wait to get stuck in to the 3rd in the series when it is returned to the library.
I liked all the main characters, Morrigan Crow the Wundersmith is likeable, it can be a little frustrating waiting for her to realise the power she has, but that the also the beauty of the story. Her best friend the excitable dragon rider, gives just the right balance to Morrigan Crows character. I hope that he is able to use his powers in books to come.
I would and will be recommending this book to both children an adults. Its great to be able to leave the world we live in and enter another for a few hours.
This book is amazing defiantly not as good as the first one but still amazing. Morrigan crow is all about her being different and how she deals with it and does whatever she can to help her patron and her friends even when they have treated he wrong. This story will make you feel scared happy and Manet even sad. This book does have a certain age group. If you are younger than this age group I would advise that you should read it with a parent
Hawthorn is my favourite character because he's funny and enthusiastic and good at jokes and pranks. He also rides dragons and I love dragons. I would recommend this book to 9 - 15 yr olds who like adventure and magic and mysteries.
This is a fantasy book, set in a world of magic. It’s fun and exciting, the main character was Morrigan Crow but my favourite character was Fenestra, the Magnifcat.
I liked morrigan the best because I could empathise with her.
I would recommend this to anyone 9+
An engaging story, I found myself invested in Morrigan Crow. Interesting characters I kept turning the page
I loved the first one but adored this even more it is a great read and I recommend this to any adventure lovers like me!
This book is a really good follow on from the first book in the series, Nevermoor, The Trials of Morrigan Crow. Finally being accepted into the Wundrous Society, we read all about Morrigan's exploits as she struggles to fit in and be accepted by her school friends. The only person who really befriends her is Hawthorne Swift, I feisty dragon-loving character. As the book unfolds, however, she gradually wins over her school friends by her courageous deeds. This story takes you to many dark and mysterious places and I really recommend it.
even better than the first book, in my opinion, the best one yet!
This was a very good book. I love the way the author describes every little thing as if it were happening in front of her eyes. Very good.
A fantastic mystery!
Fantastic follow on to the series with a return of all of the loveable characters with a new mission to prove they deserve their places in the Wondrous Society.
Magical
I liked this book because it was all about magic. My favourite character was Cadence because she was a mesmerist.
At last, Morrigan Crow has joined the Wundrous Society, her worries are all gone and she has just won eight brothers and sisters, loyal for life bound together, true as a knife. But the truth is as far from that as can be... Somebody is turning her 'brothers and sisters' against her, and sending ransom demands to unit 919! Then members of the society are disappearing, and Morrigan has found no leads to who is doing it all... When Morrigan and Cadence Blackburn find the Ghastly Market and two of the missing members, then Morrigan knows she must stop it at once... But when she finds out that EVIL Ezra Squall has been the unimaginable, and Morrigan finds out who the new members of the society that went missing are, Morrigan must rescue Cadence, Lambeth, Angel Israfel, and one of the only two teachers she has, Professor Onstald, and possibley even Nevermoor itself...
Great fun - couldn't put it down.
I loved this thrilling, incredible book. There is nothing I would change this book. Anybody would love this fantastic book.
Another heartwarming, gripping tale from Jessica Townsend about found family in a magical setting.
