I really enjoyed this book as it was my first time reading it! My favourite part was when Annie managed to escape the orphanage. This is a classic book and the best one I have read!

I liked when she ran away from the orphanage and found a dog and named it Sandy. I didn't like when she got taken back to the orphanage and hit with a paddle. She then got adopted by a really rich guy and the mean orphanage owner said are all my kids going to be homed with a millionaire.....and he said no, all of your girls are going to be homed with a BILLIONAIRE. I would recommend this book.

This book was all about the life of an orphan called Annie. She lives under the care of evil Miss Hanningan, who hated all the children. Then along came Miss Grace Farrell and whisked Annie off to heaven. Annie desperately wanted to discover her parents who had left her at the orphanage at 2 months old. A wonderful tale, I would read it again and again.

I really love this book, I’ve had it since I was about 9. I’ve always loved the way “ little orphan Annie “ was portrayed in the films and musical productions, so I like the book just as much. Annie has quite a hard life considering she has to live in an orphanage ran by the evil Miss Hannigan but soon gets the opportunity to live multi-billionaire Mr Oliver Warbucks!! Annie takes a liking to Mr Warbucks and wishes he would adopt her, but he has also had a rough past with his family and isn’t entirely sure he can take care of a child. Read the book to find out what happens to Annie!

I would recommend this book to all old children from ages 9-12. My favourite character was Annie she was a smart, confident and funny child who is truest amazing. The book is extremely heartwarming about a group of children that are orphans and Annie (one of the orphans)decided to escape the girls orphanage home due to the horrible drunken headmistress who would abuse the children whenever she possibly could

It was really funny and I feel really bad for Annie because everyone was being so rude to her

I think my cousins would like to read this as it’s like the film. I enjoyed when Annie was working at the Beanery & met Sandy and made her escape. I didn’t like so much the part when Sandy had to run away from Annie. She wanted him to leave her so he didn’t get hurt. I quite liked the bit when her friends from the Hooverville had fancy dresses and had her orphanage friends to stay with them. I also enjoyed when Annie’s fri nd Molly got to stay with her and Daddy Warbucks. I enjoyed the happy ending.

It was cool. Loads of facts about the Great Depression.

I thought that it was a little bit scary at the first bit of the last chapter but it all turned out well in the end! I would recommend 'Annie' for people over the age seven because Annie nearly gets killed by Aggie Hannagion and her brother Rooster Hannagion but then Mr Warbucks saves Annie!

I absolutely loved this book as it stayed true to the musical and the comic strip ( Little Orphan Annie) and I learned new things about this franchise! Great story! I would recommend this book to fans of the film and the musical, you will learn new things about the story line, and children aged 7-100!

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes classic books. It is about an orphan girl called Annie who wants to find her parents but is under the care of Miss Hannigan. She is given the opportunity to stay with Me Warbuckd a billionaire. He wants to adopt Annie but Miss Hannigan doesn't want that to happen. I would rate this book a 5 star rating because it is my most favourite book.
