Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls is one of the most inspiring books I’ve ever read! Every page tells the true story of an amazing woman or girl from around the world who did something brave, clever, or powerful—sometimes even all three!

I loved how the stories were short but really interesting, and each one made me want to read more. There were scientists, athletes, queens, artists, astronauts—even pirates! Some of them had to fight for what they believed in, and it showed me that being strong doesn’t always mean muscles—it can mean standing up for yourself and others.

The illustrations are beautiful and colourful, and I liked how each story had its own unique style. This book made me feel proud and excited about what girls can do.

I think everyone should read it, not just girls! It’s full of people who changed the world, and it made me want to be brave and follow my dreams too. Recommended for 9+

A fantastic collection of short biographies. On each page, there is a short biography of a variety of successful women who helped to shape the present. I can't wait to read pages of this book to my students. Hopefully, it will provide inspiration for their future ambitions.

I like this book because it tells me a lot about real women who changed the world. I realised that it was a factual book because it has Florence Nightingale in it and I know that she is real. I recommend it to everyone like fiction and facts

This book is the real life (mini) stories of 100 inspiring woman who decided to stand up for what they think is right, and pursue their dreams and aspirations no matter what anyone thought of them.

These short biographies are each a page long and are accompanied by beautiful illustrations—which are by far, one of the best parts of this book.
Each illustration was created by a different artist, so the art style changes from one story to an other. Each of them, like the women in these stories, are unique and inspiring in there own way.

The biographies themselves are written in a pretty simple vocabulary, as the book is for kids, but I often found myself a bit underwhelmed— not because of the stories but because of the writing style; it’s more the kind that you would find in a history book rather than a ‘modern day, real life fairytale’.
Although I do admit, I can’t imagine children being bored of these stories easily.
From the empress Catherine the Great to the mexican activist, Eufrosina Cruz, they probably would be on their edge of their seat seeing these heroes, icons and warriors risk themselves for their world or what they really want to do.

They’ll probably learn interesting things about very famous women, some of them will surely be completely knew. And there were quite a few interesting gems that you might want to find out more about.

In conclusion, ‘good night stories for rebel girls’ is a visually appealing, informative and most importantly inspiring book to read to kids if you want them to know about powerful women in history.
