A bestselling story about confidence, self-esteem, and a shy little mouse who sets out on a journey to find his roar.
In a dry dusty place where the sand sparkled gold, stood a mighty flat rock, all craggy and old. And under that rock in a tinyful house, lived the littlest, quietest, meekest brown mouse.
Fed up of being ignored by the other animals, Mouse wishes he could roar like Lion. But, as he discovers, even the biggest, bossiest people are scared sometimes … and even the smallest creatures can have the heart of a lion!
A modern classic, The Lion Inside has sold over 200,000 copies in the UK alone and been translated into over 30 languages worldwide.

Love the rhyming and story about being brave
I love this book and the message it gives. I like how the lion and mouse become friends.
I enjoyed the book and we went to watch the puppet show too
This is about a lion and a mouse. I like it when the lion is scared of the mouse because you wouldn't think a big lion would be scared of a little mouse. I like the ending. I read this to my 3 year old sister and she liked it too.
I like the mouse best. I like it when the lion is scared.
I liked the lion and the mouse.
I liked it when the lion was dancing. My favourite character was the lion because he was scared of the mouse and that was surprising!

This book is really nice because it is about friendship. I like that the little brown mouse feels brave enough to speak to the lion. I like that the lion gets scared but the mouse shows him how kind he is and they become friends.
I love it.
Lions are my favourite animal
It tells you that know matter your size you can always be brave
A firm favourite with a great life lesson
I liked it when the mouse met the lion on top of the rock and the friendship they formed.
This book has a lovely message. My dad really likes this book too!
It was funny that the lion was scared of the little mouse.
The lion inside is a wonderful book based on our feelings and learning to speak up. You don’t need a big voice if you know how to stand out from the crowd.
it was funny at the end when the lion was scared of the mouse. It was nice that they became friends.
It was a fiction book but some of it was true. My favourite character was the mouse because he was brave. The lion showed off a lot which was boring. The mouse was scared at first because no one could hear him but eventually he was brave and now he and the lion are friends
Very funny because the big lion is terrified of a mouse
Fiction. I like this because the words rhyme and the mouse is very brave.
The lion is fun and the mousse is cute. It's a beautiful friendship story.
It was funny because the mouse just said a word then the lion sreamed.
It encourages you to share and be brave
I liked this book because I like that the mouse truely found his courage and his roar rather than thinking he can't do anything. In the end he impresses the lion by being himself, and they become friends.
Good book they are good friends now.
