Luke is a comic-mad eleven-year old who shares a treehouse with his geeky older brother, Zack. Luke’ s only mistake is to go for a wee right at the wrong time. While he’s gone, an alien gives his undeserving, never-read-a-comic-in-his-life brother superpowers and then tells him to save the universe. Luke is massively annoyed about this, but when Zack is kidnapped by his arch-nemesis, Luke and his friends have only five days to find him and save the world…
Books don’t come much funnier than these! Packed with heart and soul, this series is perfect for fans of David Baddiel and David Walliams.
My Brother Is a Superhero was the winner of the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize 2016.

I really enjoyed this book because I like superheroes! My favourite part was when the main character misses out on becoming a superhero misses out on becoming a superhero because he had to use the toilet!!!
Hilarious
This book really amused me and you wouldn't have to force me to read it. However things did get strange in some parts and I thought it odd and lost interest but it got exciting again. I felt sympathetic after Luke missed out on being a superhero because he needed a wee. My favourite character was Serge who is French because he loves superheroes and comics.
i thought it was hilarious and that no one could read it with a straight
face
Yes, I would recommend this book to someone else. It is very interesting.
Good
Really funny book I laughed a lot while reading this book had fun
I liked Star Lad the best because of his 6 super powers and throughout the journey we had to find them all out. He had to stop a giant asteroid destroying all of mankind which was pretty cool.
I really enjoyed reading this book.
This book is awesome because Luke's brother Zak got superpowers and he had to save two universes and at the end Lara got superpowers too.....and Luke missed out again!
it was fiction and fantasy. My favourite character was Lara because she seemed really nice, kind and funny and that is a nicer personality than the other characters. I would recommend this book to someone else because it is really funny, exiting and enjoyable.
This book was okay, in the bottom corner there was a flick book that made it look like the portal was moving.
Love brother love
it was very interesting and had lots of twists and turns. I would definitely recomend.
My son and I have enjoyed reading this together over the Summer. I really like the writing style- funny, descriptive and relatable.
The characters are engaging and interesting. Each chapter leaves you wanting to read on to see what happens next.
We want to read more books by David Solomuns.
Funny book about a boy's brother who has received superpowers. Even though the superhero (Zack ) has ultimate power, his brother ends up saving the day (and the world).

It is an awesome book to read. A brother who uses his superpowers for good deeds.
I really like Luke since he is funny and also likes to help his brother when he is in trouble.
I will recommend it to children who like Superheros.
