I like listening to this story to go to sleep, but I feel sad for the giant when he dies.
This story is beautiful, it captures the changes in the giant and his journey through life and love. He is my favourite character as he shows remorse and then kindness and love.
I would recommend this book to everyone to read. It leaves you with a sense of comfort and peace.
Yes i would
I like like this book the most because the giant learns a lesson not to be so selfish.
I didn’t realise who the little boy was at the start. The pictures are pretty.
I liked it but it was a sad ending.
Oscar wild.
I really enjoyed the book. I loved how at the end he knocked the wall down so the garden can belong to everyone.
The pictures in this book are really good and scary. The way Hail, Frost and Snow are drawn are really creepy. I felt sorry for the Giant, because he was lonely. I was glad the children returned to the garden and made hail, frost and snow go away.
A great way to show children why you should think about others and not be mean as it also upsets the people around you. My 5 year old was happy that the children and the giant made the best team at the end.
It's a good story that teaches people how to share. I enjoyed reading it and I think others will enjoy this book too.
It was good but the giant was a bit frightening at times
It has a good story and it shows you that if you are kind , good things will happen.
It is slow at the start but gets exciting
This is a very sweet story which you can read in about 10 minutes! It is such a calm tale and one to read before bed. It is about a selfish giant who doesn't let children play in his garden but without them the autumn and summer do not return. In the end the giant realises his mistake.
