nice
I loved it
I enjoyed this book because I liked it how on holiday the family got captured and where brought to Broken Castle. I also liked the Circus as they were always full of surprises and the way it was filled with adventure. My favourite character was Lucy-Ann
because she always liked to help everyone and I would recommend it to someone who likes books with adventure in them.
My favourite part of the book is when the clowns help jack
This was a really good read. One in a series of adventure stories it is a fictional story about five children, Dinah, Philip, Jack and Lucy-Anne. They are on holiday from boarding school and get involved in saving a young prince who was staying with them pretending to be someone else. He and three of the children are kidnapped and taken back to the Prince's country where his kidnappers plan to get rid of the King and put the Prince in place where they can rule through him. Jack, the boy who isn't kidnapped, manages to stow away and after joining a circus troupe he manages to save the children and ultimately the King. As an Enid Blyton novel it is well written although some places are a little out of date, ie the children are told they will get a slap for misbehaving in a couple of places. I would still recommend it as it is a captive read.
Amazing - my parents read me this set of 8 books, I am in the middle of the last one at the moment.
Kiki is my favourite because she is a parrot - my Grandad and Nana have a male African Grey parrot called Kiki!
Would recommend the books.

This book is very captivating and makes you feel like your watching the events that take place from right next to the characters. A lovely book that makes you want to read the rest of the series.
