All Fall Down

I thought this book was a great way to get into Historical Fiction. The black death was such a significant period in time and it helps give a picture for those reluctant to do so through non fiction.

This book is definitely something I wouldn't recommend for children! It's all about The Plague of 1349 - the deadliest plague in history! Warning: this book contains some horrible vocab to describe unpleasant scenes and due to this I only recommend this book for ages 13+. Nonetheless, it's still a good book!

This book is about a girl who lives in embassy row and previously killed her mum. However, through psychological emotion she forgets and sees a man with a scar and thinks that he killed her mum. The memories then flood back and she remembers that she accidentally shot her mum.
