A warm and cheering Christmas picture book about the joy of giving, perfect for children aged 3-5!
One snowy Christmas eve, the king buys some soft red cloth to make a cloak for the princess – little does he know that the left-over cloth will be used to make presents for many more of the kingdom’s inhabitants, right down to the last teeny bit of cloth made into a scarf, which is just right for the smallest mouse to protect him from the winter chill.
Sparkly foiled jacket makes this an ideal Christmas gift.

I liked the King in this book, he had a red cloak made for the Princess. I would recommendations this book to my friends.
This book was a lovely Christmassy book telling the story about a journey of a piece of red and soft cloth and how it was made into lots of gifts for different people and animals. A single piece was not wasted. My favourite character was the Mummy mouse as she found the last tiny piece of red cloth and made it into a scarf for her little boy mouse.
I would recommend this book because it is a really nice story of kindness.
Yes, the book was fiction. The characters that i like best were the badger and the squirrel. I liked them because i like animal stories.
The best part was when they all got their Christmas presents
Great book, amazing how far some soft Christmas fabric can go :)
