A Christmas classic that is worthy a read every Christmas!
Like the word Stave and wondered about old words and their use
I really enjoyed this book, it was fun to read. My favourite character was Scrooge.
I would recommend this book for 11-16 year olds.
I enjoyed the book but it was a little bit scarry.
I think it was a little bit scary. It was fiction.
I like how it shows the true spirit of Christmas. I gave it three stars because sometimes it went a bit boring.
In my opinion, the best opening sentence ever written! I re-read this around Christmas every year without fail and enjoy it every time. The characters are so well known to me that they feel like old friends. Best of all, it has a happy ending, unlike many of Mr Dickens other stories.
This book is super original and I would really recommend it to anyone who likes mystery stories with happy endings. I loved reading A Christmas carol by Charles Dickens and look forward to reading other books by him
This book is good because it tells you never to be selfish or greedy or hateful because it is not good and that you will have no one on your side and no-one will visit you. That is how Ebeneezer Scrooge realised after when the ghosts came and shown him how he was. I would recommend this book.
Great piece of literature about social injustice. Mid difficulty to read due to old fashioned language
very good moral and ending with scrooge being happy very good
I really enjoyed this boook. I liked the fact that Mr. Scrooge turned into a good person after meeting the three spirits.
The story of old Scrooge who hated Christmas and people in general changing into kind old man thanks to three ghosts showing him true meaning of Christmas
I liked this book because the spirits are cool and the book rhymed and sounded like a poem. Tiny Tim is my favourite character because he is cute and cares about everyone despite him not being well.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes Christmas stories.
My favourite character was Scrooge.
Good for rainy days but long and sad a bit
Christmas Carol is a wonderful book. It has got all kinds of twists and turns
This is very interesting and we always read this over and over again near Christmas
i like the main character because the person, Scrooge, is an excellent role model as he learns from his mistakes by looking at himself in the past and in the future, which people nowadays find it difficult and strange. it does not only present this, but also what was like the age before and how the classes have a big impact on the population.
It was quite sad but had a happy ending. I would read it again.
I liked this book because it had new words for me to explore and a nice storyline. I would recommend this book to advanced Y6 readers and Y7 readers upwards.
Love this book and the film
It was a very enjoyable book, but I gave it 4 stars because it was too serious.
Lovely
impressive novel. I recommend it.
I think I liked this book because it is about a man who was haunted by three ghosts and at the end became a kind and good man. I would recommend it to everyone
I think this really taught me - have the Christmas Spirit! I like The Christmas Ghost of the Present best. I'd recommend this to everybody else.
It was a sad book but a very good one. I liked Bob crachitt best because he is a very caring father. I would recommend it to someone because I feel other people would enjoy it.
At first, I did not like Scrooge because he was mean but in the end, he cleaned his house and became friendly and kind. My favourite character is Scrooge because he helped Tiny Tim. I would recommend this book to my friends because it teaches us to be kind and it is never too late to change.
I haute it.
