Meg is the eldest and on the brink of love. Then there’s tomboy Jo who longs to be a writer. Sweet-natured Beth always puts others first, and finally there’s Amy, the youngest and most precocious. Together they are the March sisters.

It was quite good but abit old fashioned for my liking.

I loved this book as it had so many different characters with different personality’s. However, this book had a lot of adjectives so at times it was quite hard to read. It took me a while to get into it but after that I throughly enjoyed it.

A wonderful and educational book if it has taught me anything then is to move forward and not back move forward to being her government used to be it's okay to make mistakes that doesn't mean you are bad and as they say you shan't ashamed but learn from it eventually you will come to your goal and be the best you it is a wonderful story quite old fashioned but beautiful all of adventure so moving in lively set a perfect example couldn't be better it's the most inspiring thing I have read though quiet long it is worth.

This book was hard to understand.

I liked every one of the March sisters because they are very generous to strangers in the streets and sometimes give them food.

This book is very nice and all about 4 March sisters - Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy. They had had trouble together, fun together and enjoyed their lives even though they were very poor and their father was away to war. Their friendship and mischief were so lovely and so kind with their friends. They were very passionate and are a great example to everyone else. When real trouble came as gentle, little Beth fell ill, the sisters helped out it nicely and fixed all the trouble. I would love to recommend this book to others.

This book was amazing!!! At first I thought that it was going to be boring but it was the total opposite! My favourite character was definitely Meg as she is the oldest and by far the best. I loved all the character as well. Have now watched the film with Emma Watson in it and read all the other ones in the series.

This book is excellent and interesting. It is fun and amusing and gives a little spring in everything that happens. Louisa May Alcott describes everything so strongly it makes you read on. I would recommend it to people are creative and imaginative.

I absolutely adored this book as the characters became so alive for me. It is hard to decide my favourite character as Marmee is so kind, Beth is so caring, Jo is so straightforward and smart, Megs is so sweet and Amy is so brave. I'd have to say Marmee is my favourite character as she has raised her children so well and her children never feel scared to tell her what's wrong. Also, she has such a good philosophical mind as she helps her children's problems by not helping which very few would do or realise that it was the best option.

I think it is quite a good book as it has sad moments, happy moments, exciting bits and when you are reading it you just want to keep reading more.

I loved this book. It is about The March Sisters. I like Beth best because she is shy and kind and is very talented at playing the piano.

I found this a heart-warming novel full of stories and tales to fill my day dreams and make me feel that I too could do anything just like my new idols, the March sisters as they went on their journeys to womanhood. I will never forget this book and the characters will always have a place close to my heart.
