Emily Brown and the Not-Very-Spooky Halloween Event Kit

Halloween is an exciting time of year, but it can also
be a scary one for very young children.

In the latest picture book,
Emily and Stanley meet a sweet little ghostie who
seems more frightened than frightening. The ghostie
thinks he needs to find his ‘spook’, but with the help
of his new friends soon learns that there are other
ways to have fun at Halloween!

In this kit, you’ll find a range of resources
for running a Not-Very-Spooky Halloween event,
including activity sheets, a craft starter, costume
inspiration and some simple comprehension
questions to accompany a book reading. There’s even
a poster to help you advertise the event.
