The Week Junior Ultimate Puzzles and Quizzes Event Pack

If you’re planning a quiz or looking for a ready-made activity to support KS2 learners, this resource pack from Bloomsbury Education is for you! Created to accompany The Week Junior Ultimate Book of Puzzles and Quizzes, the pack is available as a free download.

The materials are designed to help pupils practise skills like logic, memory, problem-solving and general knowledge in an enjoyable and accessible way.

The printable pack includes:

A mini puzzle booklet featuring a mix of brain teasers — such as fish-themed word searches, Viking connection grids, ciphers, and number pyramids. Each puzzle is paired with fun facts and cross-curricular links to encourage independent thinking.

A KS2 quiz sheet with questions organised under themes like Animals, Continents, and Birds, Bugs & Reptiles. The quiz includes a mix of question formats (true/false, multiple choice, open-ended) to suit different learners.

An activity pack and answer sheet that supports a more interactive approach. Pupils can work in teams, create mascots, and track their scores – making it well-suited for clubs, classroom use, or end-of-term activities.
