Thousands of writers have submitted their stories to The Libraro Prize 2026 for their chance to win a £50,000 package from Libraro and a publishing deal with major international publisher Hachette UK (submissions are now closed).
The Libraro Reader Engagement Prize 2026, in partnership with LoveReading, will reward the reader who most actively and usefully engages with entries on the Libraro platform and social media with £10,000. Our book clubs have been shadowing this part of the prize – read on to meet each group and find out more!
The Page Turners

The Page Turners is an enthusiastic book club within the local community of Clydebank, bringing together people who share a deep love for reading. The group was formed to create a welcoming and supportive space for women to build friendships, share experiences, and uplift one another. Our members all share a passion for literature and meaningful conversations. Some are looking to expand their social circles, others find comfort and companionship in our discussions, and many appreciate the opportunity to explore new authors and genres together. The club meets fortnightly to dive into a chosen book, exchanging thoughts and perspectives in an open and engaging environment. An interesting fact about our group is that we are always eager to explore fresh literary works and would love the opportunity to acquire new books to keep our discussions exciting and dynamic. Discovering a new favourite author is one of the enjoyments of being part of The Page Turners, and every meeting is filled with insights, surprises, and inspiring conversations.
All Around the World Book Club

All Around the World is a globally curious book club started in September 2025 with a shared belief that stories are one of the most meaningful ways to understand the world. We read across borders, cultures, and genres, choosing books that open windows into perspectives far beyond our own. Each month, members “travel” to a new place or historical time through our chosen book. Our discussions explore not just the plot and characters, but the cultural, social, and historical contexts that shape each story -and how we perceive them in the modern times. We are building a community that reads widely, thinks deeply, and travels the world one book at a time. In the long-term we want to inspire lifelong learning, spark meaningful dialogue, and create a space where people feel connected not only to each other, but to the wider world.
Resident Book Club

Resident Book Club is a friendly and vibrant community that is always open to new members. We’ve been running for four years in South Leeds and have read over fifty books together! Reading together has opened up a space to explore, discuss and reflect. But much more than this it’s a collective of people who understand the joy that reading brings to our lives. It’s pretty infectious! At last count we had over 500 online members, with around 150 of us regularly coming to our twice monthly meet ups. For 2026 we’ve started running silent book club sessions once a month too, yes we sit and read together in silence, it’s AMAZING!
We meet at Bar Rhythm & Rye, Morley first Thursday and Sunday of the month, a great place to start is our Facebook group or find us on Book Club Hub.
RHACC Book Club

The RHACC Book Club was launched in June 2025 as a new way to bring together readers from across Richmond & Hillcroft Adult Community College. Although RHACC has a long history of supporting adult learners, this is our first cross-college reading community for both staff and students. Our aim is to inspire a love of reading and to help learners build confidence, especially those returning to education through qualification or leisure courses. We share book reviews and recommendations online and stay in touch through Microsoft Teams group, where members can also see which new titles are available to borrow from the Learning Resource Centre.
Whether someone is studying at RHACC or working here, the Book Club aims to create a warm, inclusive space for people to discover new stories and enjoy reading throughout their learning journey – and beyond.
Suze’s Reading Club

We are a very friendly reading club who meet online on the first Thursday of each month to talk about our book of the month and anything else about books and reading. We often have authors come along and there’s nothing quite like reading a book and then chatting with the author about it!
We love taking part in extra reading opportunities and have read and reviewed books for the Reading Agency as well as shadowing the Wilbur Smith Adventure Writing Prize! We are very much looking forward to taking part in the inaugural Libraro Prize.
Jubilee Crescent Book Club

We’re a group of Coundon locals in Coventry who came together through a love of books. The group has been running over 2 years and has meant the creation of many friendships and a supportive community of bookworms. We love reading but we also love that we’ve made so many like-minded friends!
Loughborough Book Club
