I really liked this book
I really enjoyed reading this book about Emily and Arthur the blue whale. It is a nice story. I like the pictures. I love blue whales 💙
This book is about please read what I have right about the whale in my pond love Emily
I love it
I liked that the book was made up of letters which told the story.
Dear Greenpeace was about a whale and a little girl. The little girl found a whale in her pond and started sending letters to "Greenpeace."
I liked the name Arthur for a whale. I like that I now know stuff about whales, like they need salty water.
My favourite bit of the story is when the little girl keeps thinking there is a whale in a pond but Greenpeace keep saying that there will it be a whale in her pond because the way I would be too big .
The reason I rated this book a 3, was because it was very nice and sweet but it kind of annoyed me how greenpeace kept ignoring the girl and saying she was wrong that she had a whale in her pond.
I liked it was letters between 2 people and about a whale as I like whales.
This was a book about a whale and a little girl that has the same name as me, Emily! I like this book because it was very different because it was all letters between Greenpeace and Emily and it was a bit funny at times too, but whales don’t usually live in a pond! My favourite bit was when Emily sees her whale at the seaside. I would recommend this book to my friend because she is a big fan of reading and likes the ocean.
I liked this story because it is about saving our planet
This is about a girl called Emily who finds a whale in her pond. She writes letters to Greenpeace but they keep saying that you can't have a whale in your pond. She keeps writing back and once they said that they need salt water so she started putting salt in the pond. The best bit is where Emily sees the whale in the ocean. She gives it some of her sandwich and she strokes his head!
I found this book a little strange. Was there really a whale or not? I like the lettersand thought it was funny she fes the whale her breakfast but I wouldn't read it again.
I like that the girl had a whale in her pond
- Good
- Fave character: the whale
- Because he kept coming up in the pond
- would recommend
This book was a happy this boy was writing a letter to a Greenpeace about a whale.
This was a lovely book but very repetative.
I liked that the story was made up from letters.
Good you should get it now it gets sad for a bit but then it gets happy for a bit.
I like it because it was imaginative!
Lovely book
You should read this because I think Emily was actually telling the truth that there was actually a whale.
We read this in school, then read it with Mummy. I like whales and this was a really good book. It was sad when Emily's whale, Arthur went away.
It has lots of fun and imagination
its a really good book for all ages.
