Win Flipped! by Philip Caveney bookclub sets

For Children

From acclaimed children’s author, Philip Caveney, comes this exciting middle grade title, taking you back to Dickensian times. Set against the backdrop of Covid, this adventure story is equal-parts sensitive and captivating, undercut with good humour.

During a long, lonely summer, Flip explores the mysteries of the nearby marshes. When he stumbles upon an abandoned Victorian house, he quickly discovers not everything is as it seems. As Flip realises he is trapped inside the page of a famous book, and the strange people he meets are convinced he’s someone else, he must work with faces old and new to stop this story becoming his new reality.

If you fancy winning one of five sets of 10 copies of Flipped! for your MG Book Club, please email uclanpublishing@uclan.ac.uk with the subject header ‘Reading Agency – Flipped’ and include the following:

The books will be delivered to you by the end of October and you will have six weeks after you receive the book to send back individual reviews. We anonymise your applications and share with the publisher to help select the clubs.

Please only apply if you will be able to send the club’s feedback six weeks after receiving books. If you do not send in feedback in return for the free books you will not be able to apply for other opportunities. We also welcome photos and screengrabs of any social media posts.
