This is an amazing book! My favorite part is the 2 page spread in the centre of the book showing the pirates digging up the lawns of the neighbours to bury treasure for them.
It have a bit of information but not much information about what was going on.
I liked the little girl with the canon ball, the pirates crew and the pirate ship.
I liked the little girl with the canon ball, the pirates crew and the pirate ship.
I like the characters. The main character Matilda is kind to the pirates.
I love this book and have read over and over again!
I really enjoyed the rhyming in this book.
I listened this book while mummy was reading and tryed to read my self. Funny book
I like it
It was a great story, the pirates made the people so happy by leaving them treasure in their gardens. The people realised they weren’t as bad as they thought and missed them when they left.
Mummy likes it
Really enjoyed this book. My favourite part was when the pirates left treasure in peoples garden
I really liked the illustrations. I hope I'll be able to draw like that one day. My favourite character was probably Nugget (Jim's little sister) or Matilda (the main character) I'll recommend it to anyone under 10. I like how everyone hates the pirates but at the end they leave everyone some treasure then suddenly all of the people in the town are really nice about the pirates, hoping for more treasure. This story is really hilarious.
This shows to make new friends
Nice rhyming book
The pirates are brilliant and I like nugget because she is cheeky. I'm glad that Tilda stays friends with Jim Lad as it would be really cool to have a pirate friend who would come and pick you up on a pirate ship.
I liked the Pirates next Door because at the end of this book, when the pirates left, they left some treasure behind
it was nice
