Brilliantly engaging. Slightly muddled start compared to other similar authors but you were then hooked on the story and the intrigue building.

Slightly cartoony villains but Alex was a steady, strong part which helped to ground the story.

Very enjoyable

I really enjoyed this book. It's about a 14 year old boy called Alex. He becomes a spy even though he doesn't want to. The spy people, MI6,give him lots of cool secret gadgets that are discised as normal things. My favourite one is the Nintendo. Alex is spying on a man called Herod Sayle. Sayle and his workers are making amazing computers and giving them out free to all English schools. It's too good to be true and MI6 are suspicious. In some books, there is an exciting bit at the end but in stormbreaker there are exciting bits...

MI6 are in trouble...
Time to call on Alex Rider.

This book was amazing - suspense every second. When young Alex Rider is recruited to be a spy for MI6, the adventure begins.
Herod Sayle is creating a record breaking computer - the Stormbreaker. But, inside Sayle Enterprises, behind the modern glass towers, under the floor, something strange is happening - something that will wipe out all the school children.
