In a rousing story set in a dystopian alternative past. Standish Treadwell defies the dark forces of The Motherland, showing true -though ultimately doomed - heroism.

Maggot moon is a very creative book which has an ethical twist. The short chapters make it an easy read. Although this book is very interesting I can only recommend it to older the readers, 12+, as some elements and ideas are a little disturbing. Overall a very good book.
