I love Roald Dahl Books and the Quentin Blake’s illustrations! It was a silly story book, Not the funniest but was good, it was about travelling and sweets too!

It was very creative and interesting. The pelly was my favourite because it had a long beak that could pick things up. I'd recommend it to people who are creative.

My favourite character was the giraffe because his neck can get longer and longer. He made his neck longer and longer to help the monkey climb up the neck to reach the highest windows. This helped them to reach the windows to clean them because they were filthy.

This book is a light and easy read with a simple storyline for children who are new to reading longer books with less pictures. This Roald Dahl book is a classic for me and I remember reading this as a child growing up. I really enjoyed the vivid imagery used throughout this novel with the Dahl style description and the snappy storyline made this book a lovely short story to read.

100% recommend to children new to longer books or as a lovely read aloud to any aged children who are in primary school or working at primary level.

I listened to this on my yoto box. My favourite part was when the boy made his wish come true to own a sweet shop.

My favourite character-Billy, I think it would be amazing to be able to build a sweet shop like he did.

My favourite event-When the Giraffe,Pelly,the Monkey and Billy go to the richest man’s house to clean the windows. This is when they caught the burglar, he had been stealing the Duchesses jewells.

The book is called The Giraffe, The Pelly, and Me. It was about a boy called Billy and a window cleaning service.

I disliked the theft because he stole the Duchess of Hampshire's jewellery.

I like the window cleaning service because I like clean windows.

I really liked this story, especially how they worked together to catch the worlds most wanted burglar.

I like this book because it's humorous and characters are funny. My favorite part was the end, when they all made friends and gave gifts to each other. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a fun, creative book to read.
