I liked the characters in the book, but it was very long.
Loved the bit in the church, also where adder meets the horse. Having finished this book with Dad I now want to read some more of the series - I think there are 8 books altogether.

This book is so good. It is sad in places but it's not tear jerking it just draws attention. It's shows you about climate change and our world, how nature needs our help. I would recommend this to anyone who loves animals but I'd say about 9/10+. If you have been put off this book by the fact someone has said it's sad still read it. It's got a lovely message and it's fine to read you can hate sad things but still read this book. Definitely worth a read.
An exciting book full of animals and adventure. I love it!
I love books about animals. I enjoyed this story because it had an important message about how humans should treat nature. My favourite character was Tawny Owl because he was very wise and clever. He didn't always agree with the other animals and this made their conversations interesting.

It was a fun book to read because they went on an adventure to find a nature reserve because their woods was being cut down. And they had to go through lots of obstacles to get there. They meet a vixen on their way and a heron. My favourite character was Fox.

This is an exciting story which tells us about a group of animals who lived in Farthing Wood but to move as the humans destroyed their habitat. The animals embark on a very long journey to White Deer Park, encountering many dangers and challenges along the way. The various animals all have very different characters and you can really believe in them.
