Liked the different magical unicorns and the story about pegasus
Great fun to read.
I enjoyed these Greek tales written in a child friendly manner. They do however have some descriptions of fighting and the death of some of the characters and beasts, so I would not recommend this for really yound children.
They were a good mixture of historical legends and descriptions of the mythical beasts. I especially enjoyed the tale of Pegasus although Bellerophon didn't get the happy ending he deserved. This also shows that stories don't always have happy endings, especially if you cannot act in a humble way (in Bellerophon's case!).
I will be using this book to read alongside 'I Can Catch a Monster' to reinforce the character desctiptions of the mythical beasts.
You should read this book because it has lots of imagination in the pages that you can see pictures of.
I liked the part when Zues threw his lightening bolt and learning about the animals.
Nice stories. Pegasus is a nice horse who can fly and lived with the Gods
It is really good .I started to read it as soon as I got out the libary,it is just so epicly EPIC
I think you should read this book because it's full of amazing mythical creatures and really exiting.
I didn't enjoy it
Because the horse Pegasus has wings and can fly!
i think you should read this book because it is fun and it makes you acctually believe that it is a true story
