How to Train Your Dragon: Book 1

Funny, creative and engaging with lots of action and amusing characters.

I've listened to all the audio books. They are much better than the films.

I love the TV series so we bought the book to read. I read it with my mum and my brother. I really enjoyed it.

I love this book. My mum read it to me because some of the words are a bit hard. i lov looking at all the drawings and learning about all the dragons. Now we have read the book my mum says that I can watch the tv show. yay

I enjoyed this story

Great

Hiccup and Toothless were a great team. I liked how they worked together and got better and more effective.

It was really interesting to me. I kind of like Hiccup and Toothless but not the bullies. I do not like them. It was really funny when they said this “I don’t have any fish. And you can’t eat the cat, I like him!”

I like the audio book best

It is an amazing first book in the series that totally hooked me and made me want to read all the others!

I think it would be realy hard for me if I was him and I would recommend this to anyone who like dragons

Hiccup the Viking needs to train his dragon 🐉 so that he can serve his master.

I really liked this book because I always like adventures.

I liked toothless the dragon because he’s funny and he has no teeth

hiccup is brave

I liked Fish Legs because he was going crazy, and he was the one who disturbed the wild dragon cliff and all the dragons flew after the boys.
This was an exciting moment and it makes the reader feel like the boys and Gobber the Blech isn't going to make it.

I would recommend it to somebody else. I really liked it when toothless was whining about losing teeth!

I like the fact that Cressida Cowell has chosen the time era from the Vikings. Hiccup is a small, lanky kids who lots of people ( like Snoutlout) don’t think much of. But Cressida has made sure he is a hero.

I like hiccup and toothless. I like this book because it has dragons.i would recommend it to everyone.

My favorite thing about the book is the dragon because he’s so cute

Cool fun and super

Who ever reads it will like it because hicup goes and get toothless from the cave and he sensed it

I really enjoyed this book because I liked everything about it.

I liked toothless

I like when hiccup causes the 2 dragons to clash

I found it funny but I didn't like the fact that it wasn't the same as the movie and the movie changed events but I still like the book and how how the dragons connected with vikings

Very funny introductory book in a long series that many of my pupils have read religiously.

I liked the adventure in this book and I loved the dragons. My favourite dragon was toothless.

i was fun when hiccup gave his dragon to to fishlegs

Extremely funny
