The fifth screamingly funny novel from David Walliams, number one bestseller and fastest growing children’s author in the country.
Hot on the heels of bestselling Gangsta Granny comes another hilarious, action-packed and touching novel – the story of a little girl called Zoe. Things are not looking good for Zoe. Her stepmother Sheila is so lazy she gets Zoe to pick her nose for her. The school bully Tina Trotts makes her life a misery – mainly by flobbing on her head. And now the evil Burt from Burt’s Burgers is after her pet rat! And guess what he wants to do with it? The clue is in the title… From the author that is being called ‘a new Roald Dahl’, Ratburger is not to be missed! TweetReviews
This book was really good! My favourite character was there Dad because I feel that he got to spend time with his daughter a lot at the end of the story. I liked the end part where all the children came outside to eat ice cream.
This is very funny!
Good
Zoe finds a rat and keeps it as a pet. But Bert who runs the burger van at her school wants the rat for his plans.
He collects rats and puts them in a machine to turn them into burgers.
This was a funny story but a bit disgusting as well.
I found it funny and gross all at the same time.
Disgusting butfunny
Very interesting and funny. If you like David Williams I would recommend.
Burger with rats!
Funny but not my kinda book
sad
I like the book.
It is about rats
Zoe
yes
it shows confidence
Very funny. You will be surprised by what Burt's glasses hide...
It was lovely.
It was ok. I didn’t really have a favourite character.
I would recommend this book.
interesting
I felt sorry for the rats
I like zoe because she is the hero in the book.
It was funny. My favourites were Gingernut and Armitage.
There were rats going into burgers! Zoe was my favourite character. She brought a rat into school and it climbed on her and sat on her during history lesson! I would recommend it to others. They set them all free in the warehouse, then the rats ate Burt and Sheila as burgers! Ew! I loved this book, it was so disgusting.
This book is very emotional rollercoaster! It is a very good idea to put in the things that other authors don’t because of Walliams did come up with the idea that bully’s are sometimes mean because they aren’t having any attention!
Great book David Walliams! :)
It was fiction and I liked Zoe because she was the hero. I would recommend it for a mix of emotions.
Really good book. It was really disgusting but good disgusting!
This book was so cool.
I found it very interesting.
I liked the Dad the most because of all his funny ice cream flavours.
Yes, I would definitely recommend it.
Ratburger was a fictional book. Here are the characters of the book:
•Zoe, a little girl
•Burt, a burger-van man
•Dad, a normal human being
•Sheila, Zoe's stepmother
And here is a list that goes by quicker:
Tina Trotts(The local bully),Mr Grave(The headmaster),Gingernut (A dead hamster),Miss Midge(A small teacher),Armitage(A live rat) and Raj(A large newsagent).
By the list you can tell there are a lot of characters but I was thinking this really strange thing.Which one is worse,a dead hamster in your house or a rat in your house? Now let me tell you about the story. The most saddest chapter is Prawn- Cocktail-CrispBreath and it is where Gingernut dies.Gingernut was Chloe's hamster witch died somehow.
Because somebody has lost his eyes!
I thought the book was a bit sad because her mum is very greedy and doesn’t even feed set;Llosa.I thought that the dad was very kind when he rescued the daughter from Burt. Stella was my favourite character because she is kind towards rats.I would recommend it because it teaches people nit to hurt animals
Zoe's stepmother is so lazy, she asks her to pick her nose for her. And the school bully loves flobbing on her head. Worst of all, the dastardly Burt has terrible plans for her pet rat!
I didn’t really like this book it was gross and a bit sad I don’t think I would recommend it
Good read
