My favourite character is Antony because he’s the main character and is in love with Cleopatra. He is strong and goes to war. It’s sad at the end when he and Cleopatra both die. Yea I would recommend this book.
Loved it!
Great 😌
it was quite good but a bit too short but overall i liked it
i like reading history books because my sister sits with me and talks about Shakespeare, the stories are very interesting
This is an interesting story of ancient romans and egyptians, and what happened when Antony (in command of the Romans) decided to marry Cleopatra (Queen of Egypt) and moves with her to Egypt. There is a fair amount of drama. I would recommend it!
It was good. I liked it because it was in the olden days
it is a nonfiction book.
it's a fiction. I feel like I don't know wish covered I can do. I really like Shakespeare's books. I'll recommend that people love this but if they love plays.
When Julia’s Caesar was killed,Anthony became the Emperor and Cleopatra came on a boat and fell in love and died together.
This book is a fiction . When I first read it made me felt I was apart of the beatiful sad story . It was really intresting that more people should read it
I like the kids version
this book was interesting and i recommend this book
The book is about Antony, a ruler in Rome, and Cleopatra, the Queen of Egypt. Antony was a courageous soldier, while Queen Cleopatra was beautiful and stubborn. He loved her and left Rome to live in Egypt with Queen Cleopatra. They had some beautiful children together.
To keep the Romas united, Antony was forced to marry the sister of Octavius. It was a fake marriage. Antony went to war against the Roman fleet, and thanks to Cleopatra, he lost. He later died in Cleopatra’s arms. He gave up everything he had for Cleopatra. After Antony died, Octavius offers Cleopatra peace but she chose to die because she can not live without Antony.
I would not recommend the book because I do not like the way Cleopatra and Antony died.
it is a very good book
I liked it but it was a bit sad. I would recommend this book for ages 9+.
Antony becomes in love with Cleopatra. Then kills himself
It has too strong love in it
Only a little bit good I’m not really saying it is the best but I still love it and how Mark Antony dies for Cleopatra it’s like Romeo and Juliet It is only not really interesting than Romeo and Juliet but It not just about Romeo and Juliet it is about the book both have the same ending.
It interested me learning about Ancient Egypt and the Romans and I would recommend it.
I really liked Cleopatra she looks really pretty and liked learning about her. I like how her robes are made out of silk gold.
I think the book was sad, because Antony and Cleopatra died and they are the main protagonist in the book .Favorite person was Antony, who was the main protagonist. I would recommend it to someone else. It was a factual book.
I like Cleopatra the book is fiction
it was a story about a princess and a boy and it was a bit confusing to me but I liked it.
A great child-friendly version of a Shakespeare classic! I can see this being a great resource for school in both English (for it's literary devices) and in Humanities. I would recommend this book to anyone who is teaching Shakespeare in Primary.
I liked this book because it was an interresting story.
Antony and Cleopatra is a war/Romantic story. It contains some war and fighting that leads to finding true love like two peas in a pod. Antony is a very important person to the roman citizens . Now Cleopatra was a very important person to the Egyptian citizens and their love was so strong that if one died so would the other.
I found it quite sad because in the end Cleopatra kills her self to show how much she loves Antony
I like this book because it envolves historical times and also the friendship between Cleopatra and Antony
Amazing follow on from Julius Caesar
